March Update

Spring is in the air. In New Orleans that means it’s hot and humid and my car has been glazed over with a layer of yellow pollen from the oak in front of our apartment.

We have moved into the most frustrating part of this new CD for me. WAITING! I’m so impatient! The team has worked so hard on it and I am ready to have copies in my hand but we must wait. Mastering happens next – that’s the process of balancing volume, tone, and spacing on the CD to make sure it is even and clean. Then comes design work. What will the packaging look like? At this point I’m ready to just hand write the lyrics and stick them in the cases myself. Then manufacturing will take a while. Then distribution, pre-promotion, blah, blah, blah. It all boils down to a big, ugly WAIT.

It was easy to be distracted from all the waiting during March. It was wonderfully busy with some new friends working to accomplish the great commission. I gained ten pounds from the endless all-you-can-eat buffets in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I was teamed with a remarkably talented and passionate group of college students working with International World Changers to help a new church plant in that massive city. At the end of the week, we worshipped with our new friends at a refreshing student conference in Sao Paulo. Ours is still a miracle working God and his power was demonstrated over and over this month. Big Ups to my friends at FBC Zachary, Element, Destiny Place and the Vine as well.

Thanks again for all of your prayer and support. I know that many of you who check in here to read my ramblings, know Shera and me personally and pray for us regularly. We can honestly feel your love and support.

Peace,
James
