May Update
Life moves fast. I should be the last person on the planet allowed to say this but life’s pace has begun to plague my pulse as well. In general, my schedule is refreshingly relaxed. Even when the calendar is packed I still am just a songwriter, a singer, a preacher, a vagabond with his guitar, his Bible, and a blank piece of paper always handy. Surely I can’t claim stress as an enemy the way friends who are students can. But with Spring now quickly passed and Summer over the next rise I am overcome by the pace.
April brought new friends in North Carolina and Nashville as well as great music and even better food at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The inauguration of the Convergence Conference with Willy Butler and Elijah kicked off May and after another fruitful week of writing, the summer has begun to breath down my neck.
I’m eager to start planning for the Fall tour and support of the new record. I’ll have copies with me on the road this summer and hope to finalize plans for the official Fall release soon. For those who have continued asking, the track list is – She Burns, Galaxy, Awake My Soul, Only One, His Glory My Reward, Altitude, Echo, Dangerous Faith, the Murasala story, Murasala, and One Last Thing to Say. Stop by on the road this summer and say hi or shoot me an email from the Contact page.
Peace,
James

Hey James!!!
It was good to worship with you again at FBC Biloxi’s D-Now. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. I was encouraged by the messages you brought and how you make it so obvious that you love Christ. Do you mind if I put a link to your website on mine?

P.S. Your website looks great… where can I get a CD?

James!
I just wanna start off by telling you that Centrifuge/M-Fuge worship was amazing because of you! You have encouraged so many people myself included from my youth group to get out and do something about our faith, thanks for that! Your C.D. is amazing, I spent the entire eight hour ride back from Mississippi to Kentucky listening to it! I just wanted to drop you a few lines and say hey, and if you are ever in Kentucky email me or something….
Later James,
