New Music Recommendation of the Week
GABE DIXON BAND – LIVE AT THE WORLD CAFE (EP) – It’s five gems set together in a live project that really sparkles. I heard Gabe’s song “All is Well” in a promo for a new NBC TV show. I was so grabbed by the melody that I immediately googled the title and found the Gabe Dixon Band. Turns out these guys are Nashvillians, transplants from elsewhere but currently calling Nash-vegas home. Some co-writing with CCM lyricsmith Wayne Kirkpatrick has helped these songs rise above the ordinary. Great musicianship and great songs. Check it out!
