New Music Recommendation of the Week
PHIL WICKHAM - PHIL WICKHAM. I was given the song “Grace” from Phil’s new record as a free download off of iTunes and was impressed. The rest of the record is just as strong. A great debut. This record is what would happen if Rufus Wainwright became a Christ-follower and learned how to play guitar. Scope “Divine Romance” or “Crumble to Pieces.” Phil Wickham’s self-titled debut is a rich and I think lasting contribution. I just heard this CD for the first time this afternoon! My sister and her husband saw him in concert with Mercy Me last night and really liked him. To my inexperienced ear, I thought like he sounded like a mix between Coldplay and U2. Glad to know that music virtuosos such as yourself like him as well!
