The real spelling of your last name: Thiele.

Why the change?: It is spelled “Thiele” but my family pronounces it like “Tealy.” Do you really have to ask?

Most annoying habit: I can never get a finger nail to grow past the quick. I eat ‘em like candy.

Best gift ever received: Speed Racer T-Shirt and Bobble-head Jesus from Shera for my birthday

Most embarrassing moment: Kindergarten. I asked a girl to be my girlfriend and she said no because she saw me at recess picking my nose. Beth, that was just plain mean and all together uncalled-for (but sadly, true!)

Most memorable worship experience: Conference in Istanbul, Turkey. It was a room full of missionaries who normally can’t worship out loud in the countries where they serve (for safety reasons). A year’s worth of pent up hunger to worship God came spilling out in every service. WOW!

Favorite food: Garlic! You could put garlic in my shoes and I’d probably eat one of them.

Favorite breakfast food: Pizza. Specifically, Papa John’s bacon pizza, cold with milk. It’s like “Wheaties” for youth ministers!

Favorite TV show: Lost. The Office. Iron Chef.
